Boys join us at many stages, from Grade 000 to Grade 11. St Charles College consists of five Schools in one College, each catering for the particular educational, spiritual, social and physical needs of the boys as they grow from one exciting stage to the next.

All applications begin with making an enquiry and completing an online application form. If you need any assistance, please contact Mrs Janet de Croes at +27 (0) 33 386 8235.

o Please help us by registering an application for your son before 29 February 2020
Applications can be made at any time, usually in the Grade 6 year. Parents are encouraged to make applications early.
o Visit the College
You are welcome to visit us – it will be our pleasure to walk you around the College and answer any questions you may have. To arrange a time, please contact Mrs Janet de Croes at +27 (0) 33 386 8235.
o Information Evenings
Two Information evenings are held in February each year. Contact Mrs Janet de Croes and we will send you a reminder.
o Please make sure that all the information we need is up to date
An application form, current photograph of your son, birth certificate, latest school report are required to process your application. In addition, the College will request a confidential report from your son’s current Principal.
o Interviews by invitation with the Principal or Deputy Principal
The College is an independent boys’ school and offers places to boys in accordance with its need to compete across academic, sporting and cultural areas. We are looking for a diverse group of boys with the attitude and values that characterize our College and who are willing to contribute to building excellence at the College.
o Offers of places
In the event of an offer of a place from the College, parents will be given a certain period of time to respond. Thereafter places will be offered to suitable applicants on the waiting list.
o 2021 Grade 8 New Boys Weekend
In September 2020 the boys who have been offered and accepted places at the College for 2021 are invited to attend a well-designed weekend to prepare them for the year ahead.
o Scholarship Process
As a member of ISASA we make offers of scholarships on the day agreed by ISASA schools. Scholarships are announced to the feeder schools at the end of May.

Please note that to be eligible to apply for a Scholarship ALL candidates are required to have submitted an application for admission and relevant documentation to the College.
*Candidates who are not able to participate in our Scholarship Examinations at the College may request special consent to write the examinations at an approved venue.
