GRADE 8 APPLICATIONS FOR 2022
Applications for Grade 8 typically commence in Grade 6. Parents are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
Please register your applications before 28 February 2021.
The following are required:
- An application form
- A current photograph of your son
- A copy of your son's unabridged birth certificate
- A copy of your son's latest school report
In addition, the College will request a confidential report from your son's current Primary School.

INTERVIEWS BY INVITATION
The College is an independent boys’ school and offers places to boys in accordance with its goals to compete across academic, sporting and cultural areas. We look for a diverse group of boys with the attitude and values that characterise our College; a group who is willing to contribute to building excellence at the College.
OFFERS OF PLACES
In the event that the College offers your son a place, parents will be given a certain period of time to respond. Thereafter, places will be offered to suitable applicants on the waiting list.
2022 GRADE 8 - NEW BOYS ORIENTATION WEEKEND
Before the start of Grade 8, boys who have accepted a place at St Charles College for 2022 will attend a weekend of activities that are tailor - made to help them prepare for the year ahead.
THE SCHOLARSHIP PROCESS
As a member of ISASA, we make offers of scholarships on the day agreed to by ISASA schools.
To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, ALL candidates are required to have submitted an application for admission together with the relevant documentation to St Charles College.
Invitations to scholarship examinations will be made in writing thereafter.
Scholarships are announced to the feeder schools at the end of May.

Special Awards are offered at the discretion of the Principal and the Scholarship Awards Committee.
*Candidates who are not able to participate in our scholarship examinations at the College may request special consent to write the examinations at an approved venue.
GRADE 6 OPEN WEEKEND
Friday and Saturday 10 & 11 December 2021
St Charles College invites Grade 6 boys who are considering enrolment into Grade 8 for 2023. Come and spend some time with us, meet awesome people and experience our campus.
Assessments have been completed and scholarship applications are closed.
